ADS and accessing UH Hamilton Library Articles (updated 26 May 2020**)

How to Link to Hamilton Library articles
from an ADS record

Start at the ADS website:  https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/

1.       Sign Up – top right corner
2.       **Create a new account for the new ADS format. Create a new username and password. Note: For security reasons, DO NOT USE your Hawaii.edu email address and password. 
3.        Log In with your new account information
4.        Click on Account – top right corner
5.        Scroll to Customize Settings
6.        Select Library Link Server
7.        Click on Update below the No Link Server Selected message
8.        Scroll to University of Hawaii, select and Apply
9.        You should see – Current Link Server: University of Hawaii
10.      To connect to articles, you must be logged in to your ADS account
11.      Click on the begin search icon - upper left corner
12.      **To connect to the full-text article or to information about the article, click on the My Institution icon when it appears within an ADS record.
