5,000 books available for free

Questia, a subscription (for profit) online full text supplier, has made over 5,000 public domain books available for free.

Access is only by title and author lists; no subject access. Still what do I want for nothing, my money back?

While I don’t enjoy browsing an electronic list as much as I like checking physical volumes on a shelf, a quick scan of this virtual collection included these titles for further exploration:

Adventures of Captain Hatteras: The Desert of Ice; A Trip from the Earth to the Moon; A Tour of the Moon
Book by Jules Verne; edited by by Charles F. Horne; published by Vincent Parke, 1911

Physical Science in the Time of Nero: Being a Translation of the Quaestiones Naturales of Seneca
Book VII Which Treats of Comets
Book by Seneca; translation by John Clarke, published by Macmillan, 1910.

Sun Lore of All Ages: A Collection of Myths and Legends concerning the Sun and Its Worship
Book by William Tyler Olcott; published by G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1914
