SIRTF Renamed

It was announced today that the Space Infrared Telescope Facility (always too much of a mouthful!) has been renamed the Spitzer Space Telescope, in honor of Lyman Spitzer, the accepted "father" of space astronomy. The first images from this exciting infrared telescope were released at a press conference today and are available at http://www.spitzer.caltech.edu/
